Learn to Knit at Kindred Homestead Supply

Kindred Homestead Supply, 606 Main St., Vancouver, is offering a Learn to Knit Class from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 2. The class is designed for total beginners. Students will learn the basics of knitting while creating a garter stitch infinity scarf. Students will learn how to do a long tail cast on, knit stitch, bind off and how to complete the project at home. Each student will receive knitting needles and a darning needle to take home. Students should bring their own worsted weight or medium weight yarn that can be turned into a scarf. The cost is $55 per person.
