Leave Your Troubles at the Door stand-up comedy

Leave Your Troubles at the Door, 6-8 p.m. May 21 at Orchards Tap, is an improvised stand-up comedy showcase where the audience’s problems create the topics of the jokes. Audience members anonymously write their problems down on pieces of paper, put them in a box before the show and comedians tackle those issues with on-the-spot jokes. This month’s show, hosted by Chris Hudson, features Hewitt Pagenstecher (Laugh Basement), Zane Thomas (The Smoke Break), Savannah O. Bennington (Rogue Apostles) and Amanda Lynn Deal (WW’s Funniest Five). Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 6:30 p.m. This is a 21-and-over show. Admission is free but tips are appreciated.
