Leave Your Troubles at the Door, 6-8 p.m. Oct. 15 at Orchards Tap, is an improvised stand-up comedy showcase where the audience’s problems create the topics of the jokes. Audience members anonymously write their problems down on pieces of paper, put them in a box before the show and comedians tackle those issues with on-the-spot jokes. This month’s show, hosted by Chris Hudson, features Jono James (Starday Stand-up, Kelly’s Olympian Sunday), Kenny Tam (Hacks) and Imani Denae (Vulture Mag, Portland Mercury’s Genius of Comedy). Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 6:30 p.m. This is a 21-and-over show. Admission is free but tips are appreciated. Learn more at @leaveyourtroubles on Instagram.
