Magenta Theater presents “Amélie,” Aug. 4-20

Magenta Theater presents the musical, “Amélie,” opening 7:30 p.m. Aug. 4 at 1108 Main St., Vancouver. “Amélie” follows a young woman who lives quietly in the world, but loudly in her mind. She covertly improvises small but surprising acts of kindness that bring both joy and mayhem. But when a chance at love comes her way, Amélie realizes that she’ll have to risk everything and say aloud what’s in her heart.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 20. Tickets are $28 per person, available online at magentatheater.com/main-stage-shows or call the box office at 360-949-3098. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
