Metropolitan Performing Arts presents “Antigone”

June 3 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$11 – $15

Sophocles’ “Antigone” is the story of a young girl’s conviction to do what she feels is right when the laws of the land, and her uncle Creon, the King, are against her. As the story plays out, we see the connections Antigone has through her strong character and good heart and how those qualities begin to shake the ground on which Creon stands.

Performances are 7 p.m. June 2 and 3 and 2 p.m. June 3 and 4 at Metropolitan Performing Arts 6403 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. The 2 p.m. June 3 show includes a discussion with the cast and director. The 7 p.m. June 3 performance is Pride Night. Admission is $15. Admission for military, students and seniors is $11. Ticket prices may be higher at the door. Learn more at metropolitanperformingarts.org.
