Metropolitan Performing Arts presents “This Random World: or, the Myth of Serendipity,” by Steven Dietz. Sweet, funny, lyrical, intimate and poignant, “This Random World” explores the power of chance and the many little moments and accidents that make up a life. This ensemble script casts its gaze at the fleeting wonder of being alive and asks what we might do with the life that we have, wherever we are on our journey.
In person performances are 6 p.m. June 4 and 5 and 2 p.m. June 6 at The Metropolitan Performing Arts Black Box Theater, 6403 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. Tickets are $8.
Performances run for only one weekend at limited capacity. Tickets must be purchased in advance at www.MetropolitanPerformingArts.org. There are no at-the-door tickets available. Recommended for ages 12 and older. Safety precautions require all audience members (vaccinated or not) to wear a mask and be temperature checked at the door. Vaccinated cast members will be removing their masks during the performance.
