Metropolitan Performing Arts presents Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas,” showing Dec. 6-21 at 6403 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. The musical follows veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, who have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. The score features standards including “Blue Skies,” “I Love A Piano,” “How Deep Is the Ocean” and “White Christmas.” Showtimes are 7 p.m. Dec. 6, 12, 13 and 20; 6 p.m. Dec. 7 and 14; and 2 p.m. Dec. 8, 15 and 21. General admission is $25. Students, seniors and military are $16. On Pride Night, Dec. 12, $1 of every ticket goes to a local pride organization. Get tickets at metropolitanperformingarts.org.
