Music of Underrepresented Composers

Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Portland presents “Music of Underrepresented Composers” from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 25 at 147 N.W. 19th Ave., Portland. The concert features organ music by BIPOC and women composers, including works by Cecilia McDowall, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Jeanne Demessieux, Adolphus Hailstork, Emma Lou Diemer and David Hurd, performed by Trinity Cathedral’s director of music, Katie Webb, on the cathedral’s Rosales pipe organ. An offering will be taken benefiting Trinity Music’s Diversity Fund and the Portland Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
