NatureScaping “Let’s Talk About Weeds”

NatureScaping will host a presentation “Let’s Talk About Weeds” presented by Pamela Moody from 10 a.m. to noon on May 18. Event will be held in the CASEE Center, Building B, Room 205, located at 11104 N.E. 149th St. in Brush Prairie.

Pamela Moody, a master gardener, NatureScaping board member and hummingbird garden coordinator, will teach attendees how to identify the weeds growing growing in our area. There will be an introduction on Washington state noxious weeds classifications and what to do if one encounters them. The class will also cover some of the edible and medicinal uses of weeds.

Attendees are encouraged to bring samples of weeds they’d like to have identified.
