Ne Plus Ultra Jass Orchestra Holiday Spectacular at the Kiggins

The Ne Plus Ultra Jass Orchestra presents its Holiday Spectacular from 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main St., Vancouver. Jazz Society of Oregon Hall of Fame inductee Marilyn T. Keller will join the orchestra for the celebration, bringing 40 years of gospel, jazz, and blues experience to the stage. Popular holiday tunes from the era will be presented, including “Winter Wonderland,” “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” and “White Christmas,” with the audience encouraged to join the chorus. The orchestra will also introduce the audience to seasonal tunes which are seldom heard today, such as “Tick Tock Town,” “The Santa Claus Express” and “Christmas Night in Harlem.” Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at kigginstheatre.com/movie/the-ne-plus-ultra-jass-orchestra-holiday-spectacular.
