Northwest Oil Painters Guild is celebrating 20 years of supporting Northwest oil painters from from Mercer Island to Camas. The group’s annual show and sale will be hosted by the Corridor Gallery inside the Esther Short Building, 610 Esther St., Vancouver, across from Esther Short Park. The exhibit, on display along the main hallways, is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., July 18 through Sept. 16. Many of the paintings are inspired by Northwest landscapes and history and works include professional and amateur works. There will be an opening reception for the exhibit from 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 5 during downtown Vancouver’s First Friday Art Walk. To learn more about Northwest Oil Painters Guild, visit nopgartists.com.
