Oktoberfest at Northwood Public House and Brewery
October 2, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 10:00 pm$6.95 – $55
After a two year hiatus, Northwood Public House and Brewery, 1401 S.E. Rasmussen Blvd. Battle Ground, will once again be transformed into a Bavarian-style beer hall on Oct. 1 and 2 for the return of its annual Oktoberfest. Traditional German beer and food will be served all day and night along with live music and entertainment. Saturday is headlined by Those Darn Accordions. On Sunday, enjoy the big beerhall sound of Festival Brass. There will be plenty of opportunities to dance, including – of course – the chicken dance. Kids will enjoy a coloring contest, balloon art and face painting while grown-ups can test their strength in a Strong Arm Stein Holding Competitions.
Taste authentic Bavarian beer from Germany’s Weihenstephan brewery or Northwood’s signature Oktoberfest brew, Uncle Otto’s Marzen. Northwood will set aside the regular menu for the weekend to make room for traditional Oktoberfest items. Menu highlights include sausages, a Bavarian roasted pork shank known as Schweinhaxen ($19.95), chicken schnitzel ($19.95), whole roast pig stuffed with bratwurst ($15 to $55), cabbage rolls ($18.95), perogies ($10.95) and side dishes including spaetzle, sauerkraut and big German pretzels ($6.95). Kids’ meals are $8.95 and include a drink and dessert.
Hours are 11 a.m. until close Oct. 1 and 2. Admission is free.
