Join the WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardener program for an On the Road Tour from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 25. The first stop is Terra Nova, one of the world’s largest plant propagation companies. This research and development facility creates new varieties of plants and sells millions of them to wholesalers around the world. Lunch is on your own at Back Stop Bar and Grill in Canby. The last stop is an experimental olive grove in Aurora operated by the OSU North Willamette Research and Extension Center, featuring 160 varieties of olives to determine which varieties grow best in our region.
