On the Road Tour: Timeless Perennials

The Washington State University Clark County Extension Master Gardener program will host an On the Road Tour from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. May 21. This tour focuses on perennials. Stops include Schreiner’s Garden in Salem, celebrating its 100th anniversary. Tour the iris fields and display gardens and learn about new hybrids and award-winning varieties. Next is Adelman’s Peony Gardens which has over 30 acres and over 500 varieties of peonies. Learn about new varieties and get growing tips. Lunch is on your own at Route 99 Restaurant. The last stop is Garden World in Hubbard, with a diverse inventory from local growers. The tour is $41 (includes $6 entry to Shreiner’s).
