The WSU Extension Clark County Master Gardener program will host a Pollinator Posse workshop from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Camas Public Library, 625 N.E. Fourth Ave., Camas. Bees and other pollinators play an essential role in producing fruit, vegetables, coffee, chocolate, beer and wine. Attendees will learn how to provide food, shelter, water and space for a wide variety of pollinating insects and birds. This learning session will introduce attendees to pollinators and the plants upon which they depend and offer ideas about how to start a pollinator garden. The workshop is free but registration required at camaspl.librarycalendar.com/event/pollinator-posse-14850. Participants will receive flower seeds to take home.
