“Xanadu” follows Greek muse Kira, who descends from the heavens of Mount Olympus to Venice Beach, California, in 1980. She is on a quest to inspire struggling artist Sonny to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time – the first roller disco. But when Kira falls into forbidden love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation and chaos abounds.
Tickets are available online starting Friday, Feb. 17, and cost $6 for students, $13 for adults and $11 for honored citizens. Prices at the door are $7 for students, $15 for adults and $12 for honored citizens. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Feb. 17, 18, 24 and 25. Matinee showings are 1 p.m. Feb. 18 and 25. There will be a sign language interpreter during the 1 p.m. showing Feb. 18.
