Professional Development Workshop for Artists: Share Your Work

Vancouver artist Sharon Svec will lead two free Professional Development Workshops at 10 a.m. May 10 and 6 p.m. May 13 at the Vancouver Arts Hub, 1007 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Vancouver. The workshop discusses the value of sharing work publicly, and takes attendees through the registration process on CAFE. CAFE is free to artists and provides a database of opportunities for exhibiting, residency and funding. The Juried Arts Exhibit of the Vancouver Arts and Music Festival and Clark County Open Studios Tour accept entries through the CAFE system. Svec is a full time arts professional with seven years’ experience curating exhibits at Art at the Cave gallery as well as degrees in Professional Media Practice and Visual Communication.
