Pumpkin Pageant and Wizard of Oz First Friday

Follow the Yellow Brick Road to downtown Camas for the 19th annual Pumpkin Pageant, this year sporting a Wizard of Oz theme, from 5-8 p.m. Oct. 3. Vote for your favorite decorated pumpkin. Dress as your favorite Wizard of Oz character with prizes for adults, kids and groups. Sign up at Journey Community Church, 304 N.E. Fourth Ave., from 5-6:45 p.m.; contest at 7 p.m. Enjoy art shows and live music throughout downtown, as well as themed games, crafts and photo opportunities. Shops will be open late, offering First Friday discounts.
