The Jane Weber Evergreen Arboretum will host “Berry Crop Propagation and Management in the Pacific Northwest” from 10 to 11:30 a.m. May 6 at 9215 S.E. Evergreen Hwy., Vancouver. Groundskeeper Woolley will show attendees how to safely and effectively propagate their own berry crops. This is the first class in a series and will concentrate on raspberries and the invasive Himalayan blackberry, focusing on multiple propagation and management techniques for both varietals. Woolley will offer free raspberry plants to take home. The workshop is free. Refreshments will be served.
