
The city of Vancouver will host “Recycling 101: Curbside Recycling Done Right,” a free workshop from 5-6 p.m. Sept. 25 at Marshall Community Center, 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd., Vancouver. Learn the basics about what to recycle curbside and why and where the items go after being picked up. Bring questions to class and leave with answers and resources. Stay an extra 30 minutes after class and learn about diverting food scraps from the garbage in “Organics 101: Curbside Composting.” Register at cityofvancouver.us/services/garbage-recycling/recycleu/. Registered participants will also be given the option to join via Zoom.
