Columbia Springs nature preserve and environmental education center, is hosting the ReLit festival from Aug. 31 to Sept. 28, when upcycled and repurposed items that have been made into lamps will be on display and on sale in locations throughout downtown Vancouver. Take a free tour around Vancouver to see the lamps; you’ll be sent a map when you reserve your spot at one.bidpal.net/relit/ticketing(details:ticketing-summary). The tour is also a silent auction; tour-takers will be able to offer bids on the lamps they like.
The month-long event, held in partnership with Columbia Springs’ Repair Clark County program, culminates at 6 p.m. Sept. 28, with “Compositions and Kilowatts,” an evening of music with Ben Cosgrove at Columbia Springs, 12208 S.E.
