Science on Tap — “Recycle Yourself: Organ Donation”

The next Science on Tap at the Kiggins Theatre is 7 p.m. Oct. 25, featuring a discussion of the science behind organ donation. Tickets are $15 to $45, available at kigginstheatre.com/movie/science-on-tap-go-recycle-yourself. Nearly 1 in 20 people will benefit from a tissue donation during their lives. Biochemist  Jackie Wirz will discuss the history of organ donation, how it saves lives and how the science continues to make science fiction into science fact.
