Science on Tap: Weather Forecasting in the Pacific Northwest

Mark Ingalls, a Vancouver, B.C.-based meteorologist forecasting in the energy sector focused on the Northeast U.S., will discuss why lack of data and mountainous terrain leave much to be desired in weather apps and why it’s so hard to interpret what a human forecaster is trying to say.
