Two book clubs meet monthly at White Oak Books, 1700 Main St., Suite D, Vancouver. The next Wednesday night book club is Sept. 11 and the Thursday night book club is Sept. 12. Both meet from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The Thursday night book club pick is “Someone Like Us” by Dinaw Mengestu. The Wednesday night book club book has yet to be chosen.
