Sip and Stroll Fundraiser for Hough Foundation

The Hough Foundation‘s delicious annual fundraiser, the Sip & Stroll, invites participants to enjoy specialty drinks from Uptown Village businesses, including craft beer, wine, cider and cocktails. Tickets are $35 per person, available at houghfoundation.org/sip-and-stroll/. Proceeds will be donated to the Hough Foundation to help local schoolkids.

Come early for the Slo Poks car club‘s Uptown Village Show and Shine car show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 20 at the corner of McLoughlin and Main. The cost is $15 to register a car, plus a donation of school supplies. The show is open to all hot rods, custom cars, motorcycles, rat rods and collector cars. Trophies will be awarded.
