Spirit Tales of the Vancouver Barracks

Author, historian and local paranormal expert Jeff Davis leads Spirit Tales of the Vancouver Barracks at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and noon on Sundays through Halloween. Tourtakers should meet across from The Grant House, 1101 Officers Row, Vancouver. Tickets are $20 or $15 for veterans, seniors over 60 and kids 15 and younger. Tours last from one and a half to two hours and cover about a mile and a half, following a loop around the western barracks then back to the Grant House. The route includes stops at the Parade Ground, O. O. Howard House, Post Hospital and Grant House. There are no restrooms at the starting point or anywhere along the tour.
