The WSU Clark County Extension – Small Acreage Program will host a stream health monitoring workshop from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Nov 22.
Attendees will partake in a short hike and learn about water quality monitoring techniques and discuss how to assess stream health. Natural resource and water quality Specialist, Ben Joner, of Clark County Public Works Clean Water will walk attendees through this process at a water monitoring site along the Mill Creek near WSU-Vancouver campus.
Attendees are asked to come prepared for cold and wet conditions and a sloped hike of less than one-mile round trip.
