The Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington Chapter 19 will meet from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Nov. 7 in the St. Paul Room of Salmon Creek United Methodist Church. Wampanoag Lydia Fowler Newcomb (“Soaring Owl”) will discuss the history and traditions of the Wampanoag people, whose lands are in what is now known as Massachusetts. The group regularly meets on the first Thursday of most months.
