The Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington Chapter 19 will meet at Salmon Creek United Methodist Church, located at 12217 N.E. Highway 99, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 1.
Member Louise Tucker will discuss her new history book, “Battle Ground Lake Before Becoming a State Park: The Resort Area 1914 to 1968.”
The group regularly meets the first Thursday of most months. Go to the St. Paul Room. Bring your own lunch for social time (optional) at 12:30 p.m. The meeting starts at 1:00 p.m. For more information, call Pepper Kim at 360-901-0176.
