Art at the Cave, 108 E. Evergreen Blvd., Vancouver, will offer an opening reception for its May exhibit, “The Day After Tomorrow: Art and Mentorship at Clark College,” from 4 to 8 p.m. May 2. The exhibit explores the student/teacher relationship within the Clark College Art Department. Each faculty member was asked to choose a student to exhibit work alongside them in the gallery. The exhibit offers students a glimpse of what it feels like to make and exhibit work outside of the classroom. The gallery is donating 50% of all sales from this exhibit to the Clark College Foundation. This exhibit is the first of many collaborations between Clark College arts programs, the Clark College Foundation and the local community under the new Arts @ Clark initiative.
