The Hover Fly: Predaceous Pollinator Workshop

WSU Clark County Extension Master Gardener program and Clark County Public Health Green Neighbors program will offer a talk from Oregon State University researcher Nina Miller about hover flies, also known as syrphids, flower flies or bee mimics. Some hover fly larvae eat aphids and as adults, they’re valuable pollinators. Learn how to attract them into your garden from 10 to 11 a.m. May 17 at the Clark County Operations Center, Building B-1; 4700 N.E. 78th St., Vancouver.
