The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra presents Schubert’s Fourth Symphony in Portland’s Newmark Theatre

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s season begins with Schubert’s posthumously-premiered Fourth Symphony, a surprising and sublime work written when he was just 19. The orchestra also welcomes Spanish violinist Francisco Fullana performing Saint-Saëns’s masterpiece Violin Concerto No. 3. Watch in-person at Portland’s Newmark Theatre or via live stream at 7 p.m. Sept. 25 or at 3 p.m. Sept. 26. Tickets are $30 per person, available at vancouversymphony.org.

The Vancouver School District is prohibiting in-person audiences at Skyview Concert Hall at this time, so the in-person location for this concert has been changed to the Newmark Theatre. The theater is located inside Antoinette Hatfield Hall at 1111 S.W. Broadway Ave. in Portland. All alternative options in Vancouver were exhausted before entering into an agreement with the Portland venue.
