The national touring production of “Tolton: From Slave to Priest” is coming to Vancouver at 7 p.m. on Oct. 24. “Tolton” tells the story of Augustus Tolton, who escaped slavery and defied racial prejudice to become America’s first Black priest. The show, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 400 S. Andresen Road, Vancouver, is suitable for ages 10 and over. “Tolton” has been performed 26 states and stars the award-winning Jim Coleman (“My Brother and Me,” “Ant Man” and “The Quad”) as Father Tolton. Admission is free but an offering will be collected at the show.
