WSU Clark County Extension Master Gardeners will offer hands-on training on tomato pruning workshop from 9 to 10:30 a.m. June 28 at the 78th Street Heritage Farm, 1919 N.E. 78th St., Hazel Dell. Students will learn which types of tomato plants need pruning and will receive instruction on when and how to prune. The class is conducted entirely in the field. Attendees should wear appropriate shoes and clothing and bring bypass hand pruners and water. Participants will work in small groups. Accessing the site requires a short walk on uneven ground.
