The Water Resources Education Center will offer a free Twilight Tuesday Nature Walk from 8 to 9:30 p.m. June 27, meeting at the Water Resources Education Center, 4600 S.E. Columbia Way, Vancouver. Join a Water Center educator to explore the twilight in and around the Columbia River and its wetlands. Look for signs of animals, learn about plants, look for bats, and identify the twilight stars and planets that appear in the early evening sky. Participants will walk 1.5 miles on paved pathways and uneven, sandy beaches. The walk is geared toward ages 6 and older. The trail is not suitable for strollers. Binoculars will be available to borrow during the walk. Registration is required at cityofvancouver.us/publicworks/webform/twilight-tuesday-nature-walk.
