The new Two Rivers Heritage Sculpture in Washougal’s Reflection Plaza will be celebrated with an installation ceremony from 3-5 p.m. Oct. 18. The sculpture, by local artist Sharon Agnor, features 12 plaques on the lower part of the plaza’s brick tower, describing key moments in Washougal’s history. A QR code will assist viewers with interpretation. Chinook tribal member Sam Robinson will display his hand-carved canoe, similar to the one on the sculpture. Enjoy live music and exploratory activities with Columbia Play Project and participate in a collaborative art project.
