Vancouver Audubon Society Monthly Meeting: Birds, Blooms, and Bugs

The Vancouver Audubon Society‘s next monthly meeting is 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 6 at Evergreen Public Schools Administrative Service Center, 13413 N.E. LeRoy Haagen Memorial Drive, Vancouver. Carol Kohler will discuss the Wenas Campout, May 30-June 2. Kohler has attended the Wenas Campout every year since 1999. She will look at the beginnings of the campout through the present day. Learn who the founding members were and how the campout has evolved over the years. Find out what the campout is like today and the many activities that are offered from birdwatching, hiking and wildflower trips to nature sketching classes and musical afternoons.
