Vancouver Bicycle Club hosts Ride Around Clark County

The Vancouver Bicycle Club will host Ride Around Clark County from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 23. All routes start and finish at Bike Clark County, 1604 Main St., Vancouver. Choose one of four scenic routes: The Century (100 miles, $65), The 89er (89 miles, $65), The Metric (62 miles, $55) and The Lacamas Loop (32 miles, $45). There will be food, mechanical assistance and SAG support along all the routes to keep riders going. Proceeds from the event support Bike Clark County, Clark County Food Bank and Share House. Day-of-ride registration opens at 6 a.m. for riders on The Century, The 89er and The Metric routes. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. for The Lacamas Loop. Pay by cash, check or card. Departure times for each route are listed on the Routes and Schedule pages and are strongly suggested to ensure access to road support, rest stop hours and finish time. The finish line celebration and beer garden with food and drinks available for purchase is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The courses close at 5 p.m.

Youth ages 13-17 years old ride for $25. Children 12 and under ride for free with a paid adult.  Registration fees are non-refundable. Helmets are required; all participants must wear approved helmets during the entire ride.
