
Join a free, family-friendly evening canoe paddle aboard 29-foot, 14-passenger Big Canoes from 9:30.-11:30 a.m. June 25 on Vancouver Lake. Glide past shore birds, look for signs of beaver activity, and learn about the Columbia River ecosystem. Plan to paddle for 1 to 1.5 hours and walk .25 mile on variable, uneven terrain. Previous paddling experience is not required. Participants age 6 and older should come with rain gear, hats and sunscreen and shoes that can get wet. Life jackets are provided.
