The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra begins its 2023/24 season at 7 p.m. Sept. 23 and 3 p.m. Sept. 24 with guest soloist Antonio Pompa-Baldi performing Rachmaninoff’s “Piano Concerto No. 2.” Salvador Brotons will conduct Prokofiev’s “Symphony No. 4” and Ravel’s “Bolero.” Pompa-Baldi is a concert pianist and professor of music at the Cleveland Institute of Music.
