Volunteer Ivy Removal at Marine Park

Join staff from Vancouver’s Water Resources Education Center, 4600 S.E. Columbia Way, to pull English ivy in Marine Park, 4501 S.E. Columbia Way, from 9:30 a.m. to noon on March 18. Tasks include cutting ivy off of tree trunks, pulling ivy free from the soil and shoveling and spreading bark mulch. Gloves, tools and snacks will be provided. Ivy pulling will take place primarily off the main walkway; the terrain will be uneven and slightly sloped. The event will occur rain or shine.
