The Water Resources Education Center, 4600 S.E. Columbia Way, Vancouver, will host a free Columbia River Walk from 10 a.m. to noon April 5. All ages are welcome to join this 1.5- to 2-mile walk on paved surfaces and muddy, sandy or wet trails. Participants will see spring on the banks of the Columbia River, with year round and migratory birds and native plants in flower and leaf. Registration is required; participants will receive a confirmation letter with full event details and meeting location after registration.
