Clark Conservation District presents a six-week course beginning March 17 about Clark County’s wild and beautiful watersheds. The course will showcase volunteer opportunities and local organizations. Topics include Clark County and its watersheds; surface and groundwater; plants; fish and wildlife; and policies and regulations. Attend just one class or all six. Classes are 10 a.m. to noon, Fridays March 17, 24, 31, April 14 and 21. The conservation district will also lead a plant walk from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 7. Classes will be held in person at the Water Resources Education Center, 4600 S.E. Columbia Way, Vancouver. The class is free but registration is required.
