
The City of Vancouver will host a Wednesday morning guided nature walk starting at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 6.
where attendees will explore the rich ecosystems along the Columbia River and adjacent wetland. Attendees will discover native plants, search for wildlife, and learn how these vibrant waterways support life all around us.
This event will talk about the importance of clean water, explore how wetlands act as natural filters, and discuss simple ways we can all help protect these vital habitats.
This program is great for families with youth ages 6 and older as well as adults who want to get out and wander along water! Be prepared to walk 2.5 miles on paved pathways, unpaved wetland trails, and along sandy beaches.
