Camas’ annual Hometown Holidays tree-lighting event has been canceled. However, Camas Parks and Rec is teaming up with the Downtown Camas Association for a fun alternative: Winter Wonderland in downtown Camas, featuring a variety of explore-on-your-own, stroll-at-your-own-pace activities of winter fun taking place over 12 days in downtown Camas. Pull out your winter hats, coats and gloves so you can experience and enjoy these upcoming activities:
- Selfies beside the holiday tree in front of Liberty Theatre
- Community decorated ornaments to adorn the tree
- Winter Wonderland window displays
- Giving Trees for Camas families
- Cookie Walk in downtown Camas shops (First Friday, Dec. 4)
- Holiday window stories
- Winter activity bags
- Winter-themed props for selfie areas
