Wizard World Portland, Feb. 22-24, brings together thousands of fans of all ages to celebrate the best in pop culture: movies, television, gaming, live entertainment, comics, sci-fi, graphic novels, toys, original art, collectibles, contests and more. Show hours are Friday, Feb. 22, 4 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 23, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 24, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $39.99 for Friday, $59.99 for Saturday and $49.99 for Sunday. Three-day admission is $79.99. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.
Wizard World Portland is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character — and some never before dreamed — will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday evening.
Special guests this year include “Aquaman” star Jason Momoa and many “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” stars including Alyson Hannigan, Alexis Denisof, James Marsters, Juliet Landau and Julie Benz, Amber Benson, Clare Kramer and Charisma Carpenter, plus Hale Appelman (“The Magicians”), Matt Ryan (“Constantine,” “Legends of Tomorrow”) and Thomas Ian Nicholas (“Rookie of the Year,” “American Pie”).
