Women’s Choral Ensemble and Clark College Chorale present Winter Concert

The Clark College Women’s Choral Ensemble and Clark College Chorale present their Winter Concert on Thursday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m. at Vancouver First United Methodist Church, 401 E. 33rd St., Vancouver.

Each choir will sing works from varied time periods and styles, ranging from 16th century French to compositions written within the last year. Highlights include a setting of Langston Hughes’ poem “I Dream A World” by Connor Koppin, Craig Hella Johnson’s “Gitanjali Chants,” the mystical “The Dawn is Not Distant” by Christine Donkin, and Gwyneth Walker’s “How Can I Keep From Singing.”

Admission to the performance is free, although donations to the Clark College Music Department are welcome at the door.
