Jason Latimer, World Champion of Magic and science educator, will bring Impossible Science Live to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) from Feb. 4 to 26 with a performance of illusions to challenge visitors’ understanding of what is possible. Impossible Science Live’s uses science, technology, engineering and mathematics to take audiences on a magical journey that challenges their perceptions of what’s real. Latimer integrates all fields of science into illusions by appearing to walk through solid matter, form water into objects, bend light with his hands and make drawings come to life.
Latimer’s hour-long Impossible Science Live show will run every weekend in February at 1945 S.E. Water Avenue, Portland. Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for kids ages 3 to 12 and $13 for seniors ages 63 and older. Museum hours of operation are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and Sunday and 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. The museum is closed on Mondays.
