Retired WSU Extension Food Safety Emeritus faculty member Sandy Brown will teach a free, five-session series about food preservation. Students will learn about equipment needs, why methods need to be followed accurately, canning fruits, tomatoes, pickles, jams or jellies and pressure canning vegetables and meats. Classes take place at the 78th Street Heritage Farm in Hazel Dell. Choose from afternoon or evening sessions each day except June 19.
