Youth Bridge Summer Camp

The Vancouver Bridge Club is hosting a Youth Bridge Summer Camp from July 18-22 and July 25-29. Camp is held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. The camp, held over two sessions, at 6503 E. Mill Plain Blvd., Suit H, Vancouver, will be taught by accredited American Contract Bridge League teachers Margi Redden and Lynda Hirst. The cost is $125 per student per session.

Session 1, July 18-22, is an introduction to bridge for beginners. Session 2, July 25-29, is a an introduction to bridge for beginners as well as a continuation of bridge instruction for those who have completed Session 1. 10 a.m. to noon will be on a computer and 1 to 3 p.m. will be with playing cards. Students will learn reasoning, strategy, logic, competition and partnership. Students should bring their own laptops and iPads as well as their own bagged lunches.
